Lightning Strikes Twice for Local Inventor
Boomerpreneur debuting 2nd invention on QVC

Melbourne, Fl. May 11, 2012 for Immediate Release

The electronic shopping network QVC will debut local inventors product, the giZmoBag during the 1:00 pm “Organizer Options Show” on Friday May 18th.

Jean Smith Newell, local inventor and giZmoBag designer said she is excited to return to QVC with this, her second product. “The opportunity QVC affords to small businesses can instantly take a great idea from concept to commerce”, says Newell. “To be able to reach millions of Americans during these live presentations is the ideal format for new inventors with a dream”.

The giZmoBag is Newell’s 2nd product to reach QVC following the success of her first design the PUP (personal utility pouch). Newell sold over 1.5 million dollars during the PUP’s 24 month run on QVC. The giZmoBag is the next generation of wearable organizers featuring compartments for the new high tech devices such as e readers and smart phones.

Newell, a former 35 year veteran Realtor, has parlayed her invention experiences into a consulting business for aspiring inventors and has authored her first book “How to Turn a Pink Slip into a Red Hot Business“. Newell, a director with The Founders Forum and volunteer mentor with Junior Achievement, attributes much of her success to the help and guidance she received from The Small Business Development Center and the Women’s Business Center.
